Trained and certified as a Co-Active Life Coach through the Coaches Training Institute (www.thecoaches.com) Pauline has been self-employed since 1992. Her background includes 37 years as a Human Development Professional. With a BS in Education, and her CPCC credential from The Coaches Training Institute, she also has a credential from SSU in Coaching, Counseling & Mentoring, and is a Board Certified Coach through the Center for Credentialing and Education. Inc. (CCE)
A former staff member of Landmark Education Corporation, a nationally known keynote speaker who authored and published her memoir, Grief Denied A Vietnam Widow’s Story in 1999, she keynoted at the VIETNOW National Convention, Chicago May 2015. She appeared on the Bill Moyer’s Journal in May 2007, along with Maxine Hong Kingston. Pauline led a grief workshop with widows of the War on Terrorism in 2005 and taught memoir-writing at Fish Trap Writer’s Conference June, 2001. Since 1999 she has spoken nationally about her experience of healing trauma through the creative process.
She has been published in many newspapers and journals, appeared on CBS, CNN, NBC and KQED. She has spoken at military bases, high schools, UCSF, SSU, SRJC and at a writer’s conference in St. Louis. She read from her book at the Women’s Vietnam Memorial in D.C. Pauline has a passion for inspiring and empowering people to have their life be an expression of authenticity, acceptance and joy. Pauline’s professional, personal and spiritual paths are uniquely woven and reflected in her workshops, inspirational speaking, and writing as well as her individual life coaching.
